Fellow, Chevening South Asia Journalism Programme (SAJP) 2016, London, United Kingdom

Selected from among hundreds of contemporary south Asian journalists, the fellowship is funded by the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office and offers an opportunity to explore the range of approaches taken by the UK and the South Asian nations on the issues of governance and media accountability.

  • Attended lectures at BBC, Reuters Institute (Oxford) Transparency International, English PEN, House of Commons, University of Westminster.
  • Gave a lecture at Reuters Institute, Oxford on Indian media vis-à-vis environmental issues
  • Produced a research paper on the water conflicts of south Asia.
  • Organised symposium on ‘Intolerance and the Media: India, Pakistan and the UK’ in London.
